Rearranging the Deckchairs

Off into Edinburgh this morning. I enjoyed a wander around John Lewis and the Portrait Gallery before meeting two of my ex Newbattle colleagues for lunch. Cloudy in Edinburgh but sunny once I got back to Peebles. We’ve rejoined the Hydro. Quieter but no great improvements as promised. I did enjoy a lovely swim. Cocktails and a meal in the garden before heading off to book group. Luckenbooth by Jenni Fagan. Certainly memorable.
