Hello sailor

Not the best of shots but it will give you an idea of what it was like this afternoon looking out to sea from just below Fort Scratchley.  There were masses of whales heading North.  This one I think was a youngish calf mucking around.   Mind you one got caught in the smart drumline this morning off Newy beach but managed to free itself.  

I plan to go to Boat Harbour tomorrow if the weather holds but I think we are going to get what 59 and DW have been experiencing over the last few days.  Wind and then rain.  Still, we could do with some rain so bring it on.
