Lavender Tea

It hasn't been the day for outside macros.  Sunny but cold and windy.  I snapped a couple of bees having breakfast on the lavender this morning and I could not find anything else of the insect kind in the garden.  No jumpers, no damsels, no dragons.  Nada.

Looking at my blip I noticed how hairy the lavender is.  It is providing food for the bees so that is something but the flowers are few and far between.  It's slim pickings today.
