Teddington

Although we had a late night last night we didn’t sleep very late and were sitting down to breakfast with our hosts, J and K, at 8am.  There was lots more talk over breakfast, then it was time to shower and change, throw a load of washing on and walk down to Teddington High Street to meet a university friend of MrMacD’s for coffee at Café Islay.  That took two hours as there was a lot to catch up on.  After coffee we walked back home, then MrMacD went off by himself to do some reminiscing and I had a productive couple of hours responding to emails, sending messages and catching up on Blip.  J and K were out and arrived back about the same time as MrMacD.  They had to go out again for a short while, so I did some more catching up, which was great. I helped K cook our supper while J and MrMacD sat outside in the sunshine reminiscing.  We had a very nice meal with a lovely bottle of wine and after clearing up we chatted and set up contacts on their “new” phones and tested WhatsApp and just generally relaxed.  Tomorrow we’re spending the entire day with them, which will be nice.
