A new sculpture?

Noticed this in the grounds of the Engineering Education Centre at Dumfries House Estate when we visited this afternoon. 
When completed it will no doubt sit alongside the other works completed here by the students. Will need to return to find out what it is and where it will be sited.
We had lunch in the cafe and a good wander around the estate. Always good to visit here. Less than an hour by car from home.
The extra shows another structure we saw in the grounds which will have been made by the students.
