My birthday rose is flourishing. They are such beautiful blooms.
I spent time this morning putting the little plants j bought yesterday into a hanging basket and a large pot. They look a bit lost at the moment but I expect they will soon fill out.
This afternoon the whole team who produce the local Talking Newspaper for the Blind got together for an official AGM. As an editor, it was good for me meet the other people involved in the production every week. We, the editors take our selected cuttings to Les who photographs them and emails them to the readers. The readers put it on memory sticks and then Martin puts these into special envelopes and they are posted free to the listeners. After the formal meeting it was good to meet everyone over a cup of tea, and talk ranged far and wide.
