Flower Friday (2nd June 2023)
The day began with the man who had come to fit my free home charging station (in Extras) telling me that I could have had it fitted on my outbuilding wall as originally intended until head office told me I couldn't. Instead it was fitted outside the porch where it needed a 17.5m cable to reach Buzz. He did a good job though and it was all up and running by 1150hr and the long cable on order.
In the meantime I had set up an extension cable, to charge the battery that was then 64% charged, from an outdoor 3-pin socket for the first, and probably last time. It was fully charged by 1900 hr, and cost less than 3p thanks to my solar panels (without them it would have been £3.57, still a fraction of the equivalent in petrol). Using the Pod Point the charging time will be vastly reduced.
While it was charging I walked into Calne to the chippie for fish and chips and did a few other things in town. I sat in the Town Gardens on the way back to do a spot of reading and took a few pictures, including these roses with some irises in the background.
Thanks to Biker Bear for Flower Friday.
