Yesterday we are mostly....................

Putting blind together and putting them up!
Marlane found these great blinds that don't have cords to pull them up and down. Cords are too dangerous with crazy young children around!
They come in kit form and after doing the first one the rest were quite easy to put together. The blinds bit is encased in a frame so can't go floppy or be pulled out, or otherwise destroyed.
The bottom photograph shows them pulled halfway down, just for demonstration purposes.
And the doors? Instead of 1470mm they made those two 147mm, so they are just a little too short by over a metre!
New ones are being manufactured and will be with us soon.
The other doors are ok, when they saw the order they must have thought it was two small skylights or something similar.

And my 'bit of bother' a few days ago? The new unit, which comprises a 12v adaptor and two USB ports, arrived this morning (Extra), took about 30 minutes to install onto the handlebars, feed the wire through, attach to the battery. Then the tank could be lowered and secured, main fuse replaced, and the seat replaced. All works, brilliantly, so now all set to use camera and satnav on the trip to Belgium 17 June.
