Reflected Light

As expected - and as needed - it’s a quiet Monday, catching up with sleep, boosting energy levels and, inevitably, the post-guest washing. And so, it’s not until the evening that any photography takes place.

Although it’s close to 9.00 pm, the sun seems far from setting - these endless cloudless skies give little colour anyway. In Llandudno, the Little Orme shines out across the bay, its west-facing cliffs illuminated by the evening sunshine. From here the light reflects across the darkening bay where the ironwork structures of the Victorian pier stretch out into the sea in the shadow of the more familiar Great Orme.

Many thanks for your kind response to yesterday’s swallows - it’s always a joy to capture them in flight.

Thanks to Carolina for hosting!
