A rainy day, so I was not working outside. I tossed some peanuts out onto the deck this morning and put more seed in one of the feeders. The bluejays and a couple of squirrels fought over the peanuts. One of the crows came and sat on the railing until one of the squirrels was running along the railing and almost knocked the crow off the railing.
After the peanuts were gone, one squirrel took over the feeder. He tossed quite a few seeds onto the deck. The cardinal enjoyed the dropped seeds. A couple of mourning doves visited for a short time. A song sparrow was there off and on. The chickadees would land on the feeder when the squirrel wasn't there, they would grab a seed and fly off to eat it.
I did get some things accomplished in the house. My paperwork is up to date. Bathroom and kitchen have both been cleaned. The vacuuming has been done and all the houseplants have been watered. I also got quite a bit of work done on a design,
I am not sure what I will do if it continues to rain tomorrow. Right now they are calling for 5 mm tomorrow on top of the 50+ that we have already received. There was also a thunder and lightning storm earlier this evening.
