Life on the edge

We went for a walk from Salinas to Bossa today, about an hour to the coast and then back again. The kids loved it and Danny had packed a picnic to have once we'd got to the water. Definitely should have brought swimming stuff, I'll prepare better next time!
Late afternoon the kids and I made banana and peanut butter flapjacks, we added cranberries and sunflower seeds too. Although Nate loved the process he didn't love the finished article... Bit of a shame as they were made specifically with him in mind! Oh well...

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Lovely countryside to walk in...and happy kids to walk with.
2) The kids being in bed early.
3) Getting some things booked in for the week.
