The Long and Winding Road

This morning W and I met up with Bom and GracieG to do the Bayfield Bird Walk, a circular walk starting from Glandford with a stop at the 'Natural Surroundings' cafe in the woods on the way.  Always a good walk, with excellent company.  After the cold and damp weather of the last few days it was sunny and bright, if still a bit chilly at times.  A good, varied walk along this track, through fields and woodland, across a wildflower meadow and back into woods before getting to the cafe.  The final stretch is along the banks of the chalk River Glaven, where at the ford we came across a man exercising his dog in the water (see extra); I'm not sure who was having the most fun!
