Bird on a wire
Not taken with my new camera. I walked along the Loxley Valley for my half-termly lunch meet-up with my friends. Despite the amount of dense foliage which had appeared since the last time I was there, I saw quite a number of birds, including long-tailed tits, jays, robins, treecreeper, wren, chiffchaff, house sparrows, goldfinches, jackdaws and plenty of swallows feeding over the pastures by the river. Though it was dull, I managed to stay dry and it was only after I'd reached the pub that the rain really got started. Looks like there might be some better weather to come over the next few days. Fingers crossed!
