The accidental finding

Hanging around

I said goodbye to our guests G and B this morning, and set off to deliver my lesson, because I couldn't do it yesterday, on account of having been elsewhere.

The Lad was in talkative mood, so after we'd finished talking about commas and plurals, we chatted about British history for a while. I had to explain that Margaret Thatcher was a person but Magna Carta was  not a person, but a bills of rights. Easy mistake to make. However, when it comes to my knowledge of Aghanistan, what do I know? Almost zilch. I'm now on a quest for a simple history of the country. I did read Jason Elliot's a Distant Light, but I don't seem to have it any more.

Came home (too hot to walk to town). Lazed in garden in hammock. Read a book. Did not spill tea on myself whilst in the hammock. Later  made GF spiced burgers for tea. Watched final episode of Our House. About to watch Annika, part three. CS claims to have lost interest in it.
