Damselfly

As all previous attempts had been failures we tried once again to visit the café at Whitmuir - and it was open! So we sat outside and enjoyed a coffee then browsed round the vintage shop 'Junkshop Antiques'. (Is it me or is that a bit overpriced?)

Instead of returning straight to the car we stood a while and watched the pond as a damselfly had buzzed us. A few of these Large Red Damselflies (Pyrrhosoma nymphula) settled long enough for a photo but the blue did not return.
