Parkrun

I find the whole Parkrun phenomenon really moving. More than you would perhaps expect.

There's something about the sense of community that I love, and particularly the way in which everyone is so supportive and encouraging of one another. It's a wonderful experience.

This morning, I was waiting for Hannah by the entrance to Peel Park, so we could do the run together. It was so lovely, standing there in the sunshine, watching everyone arrive.

And Hannah and I had a great run 'round together. She's really come on as a runner, and she can comfortably run the whole thing now in a good time, as well as chatting with me while she does so.
