Two weeks ago, I blipped the Dumfries fountain which was being restored to its former glory. This week the hoardings finally came down and the water was switched on, so today I hurried down in my lunch break to see it. I wasn't disappointed - on a hot sunny day, the gold paint was bright and the sound of running water was very refreshing.

The sunshine meant that the cafe was quieter than usual but I still feel quite tired after 8 hours on my feet. It's bivvy night tonight, which I'm looking forward to Sleeping on top of a hill, with virtually zero chance of being rained on.
