Shrubbery
Our son and his partner moved into their new home yesterday, kindly invited us round for tea. They are amazingly well organised and relatively box free, compared to us. And with the all important garden - their last place was a flat with no outdoor space. Lovely to see them starting a new era in their lives together. AND a massive bonus, in walking distance of us for the first time in our lives.
By the time we got home, it was raining and this section of the garden spoke loudest to me, part of the acer/pine shrubbery. This is an unknown species of pine to me, with creamy new growth on dark green stems. Bits of acer creeping in the edges. Love the different colours contrasting.
