As soon as I got Alan out to school this morning and the Tesco delivery sorted, I holed myself up in the games room and started tackling the mountains of boxes still unpacked from our house move last year. Well it's almost a full year so I thought it was time.

I only emerged about half an hour ago knackered, dusty and rather unkempt, after a text from David reminding me there's a social worker visiting at 4pm in connection with our recently granted legal Guardianship of Alan.

I have flung some makeup at my face and dragged a brush through my hair so here's hoping I look a bit more like an organised mum than the mad bag lady I resembled a short while ago.

Today's blip is courtesy of one of the boxes I emptied. Piles and piles of Duran memorabilia. Oh the memories :))
