Monsaraz

We had another very full day (I’m a tad concerned that we are wearing out our generous hosts), starting with a prayer walk/ride and meet up with Ermelinda for coffee in the town of Mourão. Then we visited her husband Cecilio at work at the town library nearby.

We drove to Monsaraz to experience the stunning views from the new renovations around the outside of this stunning hill top town. We finished up with a delicious lunch at a charming restaurant called Sahida.

Afterwards we had an informative tour of the Sharish Gin distillery with a tasting at the end.
