Rhododendrons
This morning it was very cool with quite a nasty wind. By the time I finished walking Xena at 10am it was only 15C, which is quite ridiculous for this time of year. When I went to my weekly golf clinic I was wearing two layers and a gilet, the wind made it feel so cold. We were outside practicing chipping which was a lot of fun. Tomorrow us ladies are playing golf again so we are certainly getting lots of practice at the moment.
After lunch I went to the physio. My sore shoulder and neck that has been affecting me for months now has not got better. The sports massages I had in February/March did help relieve the symptoms a bit, but did not cure the problem, so I finally went to the physio today. She said I have very stiff and tight joints up and down my spine (as I also have lower back pain) so she worked on loosening my spine today and gave me some spinal exercises to do -she also suggested I take up yoga. I need a few sessions to improve it.
Later this afternoon I took Xena for another walk, by now it was sunny and much warmer. If you are out the wind it can be quite warm, but all of this week there is a cool wind every day. Luke and Meriel are in Norfolk this week and they say the weather is very cool and windy there too.
Other than that I have been working on a safari trip for Gavin and I in 2025 or possibly 2026....it seems so far away but these things get booked up so early it has to be planned long in advance.
