The first peony

The morning was spent keeping an eye on one of my student groups as they took a remote exam and the Loch Arkaig ospreys as they welcomed their first chick of the year.  Later I took an hour off to water the allotment and do a bit more tidying up, but forgot to take any photos. So instead you have the first peony bud from yesterday's flowers.
