It was a long day. Started with a Premier Inn breakfast at 7, then shuttle bus to Manchester Airport at 8.30, met J and family, 11.15 flight but running half an hour late, met E at Geneva airport, a train to Martigny, then a dash across the platform to catch the Mont Blanc Express for a 15 minute uphill ride to the village where our Airbnb is.

Finally takeaway pizzas, wine, connected to the Wi-Fi and posted the previous days blip then straight to bed.

Think I’ll be posting a day late all week.

In the blip are two photos from Manchester airport, one of us heading along the platform at Geneva railway station and my pizza. Fabulous views from the train along Lake Geneva but window reflections and haze made good photos impossible from my side. I was amazed at the number of vineyards up the hillsides on the other side.
