Simply Red

I slept like a log and had trouble waking so we didn't do our planned six mile walk as we needed to set out early. Instead we walked from our villa in Kolieri to Stavros Village (Ithaca, Greece) where we enjoyed a good hour at a local (Margarita) taverna.I enjoyed an iced coffee and people watched. The pace of life is so slow you ca almost hear time pass by.

This weeks W-I-D-E on Wednesday theme is ' a bit of red' and I couldn't resist the scene taken from my seat at the taverna showing the owner walking his dog having chatted to another taverna owner.

Later we enjoyed a couple of hours on local Polis beach.
