The Shivering Timbers 3: Nick

Yet another week has passed! Where does the time go?

Tonight I'm introducing you to Nick, having already been through Steve and Aaron. Nick is a very talented multi-instrumentalist. In The Shivering Timbers, he plays harmonica (his first instrument), guitar, piano, slide and accordion. Here, he's on mandolin. In another band he plays bass guitar and Irish Bouzouki. It's actually quite scary. Thankfully he can't play the drums though (I know, the easiest, right?!), so I'm safe!!

We're preparing for a gig next week, but we may be a man down if Steve's baby decides to make an appearance, so we're trying some different permutations to make it work.

In other news, Gina and Miles stopped into work for morning tea this morning, which was a massive highlight in what was otherwise another moribund work day. Was awesome to have them pop in and pass Miles round. :)

Oh! Except that there was a photographer around to take some photos for reports etc and he had some serious gear (Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS II anyone?). That is one ridiculously big lens. I'm glad I shoot Olympus or I may have been a bit jealous....
