All of a sudden this afternoon it became clear that something was very wrong with Roxxy. I took her to the vet and it seemed that her heart was beating very erratically. Plus an x-ray revealed some lumps on her spleen. During the two hours we were there she was declining rapidly - so the decision was made to euthanize her then and there.

We are very sad. I suppose we can be happy that she had a very fine last year with us. The one year anniversary of our adopting her is June 12. This is a shot of her on the floor at the vet's office. Not very dignified, but there we are.
