Box Turtle

This guy was climbing over the bottom rail of nextdoor's gate when we were setting out on our walk this morning. The house next door is not lived in regularly, so they have a gate that blocks the driveway when it's not in use. I did lift him over so as to avoid the possibility of his falling over on his back and getting stuck.

He appears to have a mouthful of breakfast!
