Tiny Tuesday: Little Jewel!

A nephew and his family are visiting the northeast for a few days from their home in Cardiff, and they invited us to join them for the day on the beach at Tynemouth. We had a fun time with his daughter (aged 8) and son (aged 5): our great nephew (who actually appeared on blip last year) spent almost all the time, along with some other children, building dams across a stream which runs down the beach. (I have to admit to enjoying helping them for a while, it brought back memories of my own childhood and that of our lads when they were young.)

The 5-year-old found this tiny little "gem" on the beach - it's no more than 1cm in diameter. He reckoned it may have belonged to  The Little Mermaid! As H0tamer (our TT host for this month) hasn't set a specific Tiny theme this week, it seemed that this would be an ideal candidate for my blip, so here it is lying on the sand..
