The leafy lanes of Berkshire

A morning spent in P’s home village of Yattendon visiting her mum, in order to give the new 24hr carer a break. After a gentle walk along the leafy lanes, a visit to the village café, then some time enjoying P’s mum beautiful garden. My first collage is of scenes around the idyllic village of Yattendon, the second collage is of P’s mum cottage, like the rest of the village, part of the Yattendon estate. Whenever I’ve visited before, it’s always felt like I’ve walked on to the set of The Darling Buds of May.

A lovely warm sunny morning, but this afternoon, whilst visiting P&S’s friends for a barbecue in a neighbouring village, the weather definitely started to cool down.
