Low Light Swan Flight

I've wanted a shot of swans in flight for ages. They glide so slowly, hugely, serenely, so I was delighted tonight to see four of them glazing across the tarn, silently and ghostly.

Sadly the photo's were less impressive as the light was low and they were way across the other side of the tarn.

But I wasn't disappointed as the sight itself was worth everything, and any photo was a bonus.

This is highly cropped. Possibly worth a look in large. I'll put the original on Flickr tomorrow as it was an impressive spectacle!
