Gannets

I intended to cycle to Houton and get the ferry to Hoy but westerly winds of 20mph + (over 30mph this evening) persuaded me to get the bus, ferry and just have a walk around Lyness and a visit to the refurbished Scapa Flow Museum. In Wee Fea plantation I heard my first cuckoo of the year and a golden plover over. A family of ravens were keeping an eye on me but I couldn't get a decent shot. I also got me first damselfly of the year- a blue-tailed damselfly.On the ferry were 5 classic sports cars..see extra.
