49km

It was supposed to be 40 (according to Google maps), but it was just under 49km. My legs and bum are toast.

My husband's birthday is on Monday and as he's leaving for work very early and not coming back on Monday, I asked him if he wants to celebrate today or tomorrow. He chose today. So he got his present and we cycled to this quite hip restaurant that's run by a celebrity couple (an actress and a movie director). They moved to country side, run this farm which has some animals and cafe and a restaurant. It looks idyllic. But it hard work running it. She the owner / actress was serving us. It was quite a nice place and pizzas were great and we'll definitely do this again.

After my legs recover and I gain some strength to do that again. It was about 23km to the restaurant. And about 26km coming back (different route) in strong HEADWIND!

There's also a petting zoo called Olga's farm, but that will open in a couple of weeks. So I just took a picture from the gates. The restaurant is called Headmaster (in Finnish). Hence it's an old school. The restaurant had some movie memorabilia nicely placed in the toilets :-D
But I did it. And I'm glad I did it. If I don't push myself and I can't get to all these places around here that I want to see cycling.
