Happy birthday Jemima!
Today we travelled to the land of the unknown (England) to celebrate Mimi's 1st birthday. What a day it was! There was a bouncy castle, water table, ride-ons, face painting, entertainment, great food and even better company.
Noah slept the whole way and was an absolute joy all day. The only gripes came when he was overdue a nap but Oli sorted that out by taking him off for a walk while I caught up with friends. He was absolutely loving attention from the party guests, had a lovely time in the ball pit but the best thing ever was the bouncy castle.
Oli kept taking him on there and Noah was laughing away and making his little "hah hah" noises that sound like he's having a lovely time. HE kept clapping and waving his arms, and grabbing chunks of his daddy to try and express his happiness. I did try to get it on video (trusty old 5Dmkii) but it might not be so great seeing as the many children on there made me bounce too!
Afterwards we travelled up to the inlaws seeing as we were already half way there. We arrived, Noah had some amazing cuddles, a lovely dinner cooked by his Grandad (don't think he was a fan of the fish - it was launched!) and then went to bed a very very tired but happy boy
