Mexican stand off?
Not quite, but a touch of training!
After a fantastic day yesterday the boy was well and truly wiped out and slept really well. He woke up full of the joys and spent a good few hours playing with Grandad! He, his Daddy and Grandaddy went out for a long walk while Granny and I had a nail pamper sesh, then we went out for lunch.
It's so weird seeing him with teeth, they are really noticeable now. He is like a dripping tap with dribble and is constantly rubbing his face and ears. During lunch he had a handful of mushed cauliflower and rubbed his ears and hair, and like a phoenix from the flame came a row of curls! Little cauliflower curls.
We got back to chezgrandrobz and the little man was let loose in the garden for a few photos. He is getting used to the grass these days, still not a huge fan but he seems to enjoy ripping out a few handfuls and letting them go like confetti. The above photo was taken as Oli was bribing Noah to crawl. Daddy's watch is the perfect bait :) After a few lovely cuddles from granny and grandad we set off for home.
Home was a quick journey away and we went straight o my mother's house - NANNY IS HOME! YAY! It was amazing, we crept in and my mother popped out from the bedroom and Noah got SO excited and immediately reached out for her! Naturally Oli and I didn't get a look in and they went off to open his lovely gifts from Alaska - two fab books and a bald eagle teddy. He didn't care about the gifts as he was just so thrilled to see his nanny!
We all went out to meet Seren and Vix for dinner, came home and the poor exhausted boy went in the bath and straight to bed. It's been a fantastic weekend but wow I think we're all pooped.
