Calm after the storm
After a rubbishy, stressy night, we crawled out of bed exhausted this morning and wondered how we would get through the day, but things improved bit by bit.
Yesterday's upset was resolved - to a point, and the relief was palpable.
After a grocery delivery, and Richard's "resolving yesterday's upset", then lunch and a walk on the beach, we began turning the study into a spare room today. We always hoped that one day we would be able to afford to add a room to the house but it ain't gonna happen, so we shoved things around and ripped things out and basically made a goddamn awful helluva mess.
Then Richard stepped out for a much-needed chat at the pub (which just happened to involve a couple of pints) with one of his favourite friends (not THE favourite, because obviously that's me). And everything seems a lot calmer.
So I have a photo of a bee in a flower because it's business as usual
(That's such a crap reason!)
