Sensational

Today really was excellent. I had two in-person meetings with new MSc project students W (Chinese) and O (Albanian), and online meetings with personal tutee M (Scottish), PhD student M (German) and MSc intern Y (Chinese). All great to talk to in their own way. I also fixed an error in a model generated by Y's industrial supervisor in France and a Brazilian collaborator emailed to say that the funding bid we were part of had been successful.

I didn't have lunch, and tea was three pints of beer before and during a fine concert by the (New York) Chicago blues band, Daddy Longlegs, at the Voodoo Rooms.

Edinburgh was also looking fabulous, on a rare, warm sunny evening.
