Two Ticks
Based on recent experience, we didn’t feel confident about seeing any new birds today. The weather was cool and overcast as we set off from Thorpeness and walked through to Aldeburgh via RSPB North Warren. We were delighted to see this Green Woodpecker on the path - darting in and out of sight some distance ahead of us. A few minutes later, a Spoonbill flew across in front of us. We had a very nice lunch and a little wander around Aldeburgh before returning. Once again, unexpectedly, we saw a nice fungus - Chicken of the Woods which made it into extras. Last day tomorrow
