Place: Largo, FL 68/87
Main activity: Wed - lots
Notes: Up and a bit of cool air but quickly warming up. Had several big things to check off my list and somewhat dreaded ... so headed to St Pete around 830a, first to David Reynolds, my beloved place for silver. They are so good and fair and easy to deal with. Was in and out as I was the only one there just minutes after they opened. On to Trader Joe's across town and that went smoothly as well. Drive back is not my fave, called Al when I returned and he'd had a horrible night and seems to be falling apart. He called back shortly after to say he'd fallen and couldn't reach anyone in the office, was stuck on his floor. I called and they sent maintenance over to help him up. He called again right after that to say they'd gotten him up on and he was sitting on his bed and had just slipped off again and couldn't get up. His slurring was sounding pretty bad - I called back so they could go back over. Really is affecting me and I feel the worry/anxiety and exhaustion of it weighing on me ... espec since there's not much I can do. Went to the pool - so hot and didn't stay long. Came back and read some and then laid down and was able to rest for about an hour. Ate and worked on Joe's postcard for 45 min and then was time to jump on Workshop #4 of 4 with Jo from 4-6p. Huge storms came in ~ 5p, thunder, lightning and heavy rain, temp dropped 20 deg or so - fantastic! Lasted several hours and I was in heaven - that is my happy place! Talked to Al 730p, he wasn't sounding or doing great. He says he's resigned to going to Dr and nursing home. I said I'd go with him and help with whatever I could.
