More greenery - a riot of ferns!

Everything in my garden is growing far too fast and I am struggling to tame the jungle! I keep promising myself a beach walk before all the visitors arrive next week, but the gardening leaves me too tired to walk!

The dry sunny days are set to last another week, at least. We have had a hosepipe ban for a long time so I can foresee that my rainwater barrels won’t last! We still have to pay the same amount for the water we’re not allowed to use. I have an exemption and a letter to prove that I AM allowed to use a hose but don’t feel able to do so, because neighbours don’t know about my exemption and I don’t want to be challenged about it!

I see Suella has got away with it again, though it seems she has several other skeletons in her cupboard that she has previously lied about. This is a party of integrity etc. I can’t even remember the things as well as integrity that Sunak promised his Govt would deliver. But in his case they always seemed to me to be a speechwriter’s words that he was just reciting without actually ‘listening’ to their meaning.
