Still too hot!

It’s been sunny all day but I’ve managed to do some ‘slow gardening’ in the shadier parts of my garden. I could have posted more flowers here but I liked the symmetry of this fern. If you zoom in you can see the tiny lines on each mini leaf. I also liked the shadows across the plant - shadows like these make me think of summer.

So Suella is in trouble again, and as usual our PM is too weak to make a decision. If she resigns it’s no problem - she resigned back in October last when Truss was PM, but she was back in the Cabinet 9 days later. So it’s the usual formula - the transgressor lies, denies, then apologises for ‘an error of judgement’. If there’s an Inquiry, they usually resign before the outcome is known. Then they collect some redundancy money and are likely to get appointed to another post fairly soon. Isn’t Government wonderful?
