Big Muncher
Jamie arrived at 0810, quick chat, 0812 the first bucket load of rock and mud was in the back of his truck. 45 minutes later the whole driveway was cleared, clean and ours again.
A few weeks ago a neighbour who helps run his mum's farm asked for some rubble to fill the pot holes in his gateways. He took about 10 tons and used it all in one huge wallow. The tractor had been sinking 3' each time it went through, suddenly the ground was level. We did the same thing this morning. Placed the dumpy bags of rock beside the hole in a gateway and slid the rest into the hole; it was just swallowed up, 10 tons gone!
BTW if you are considering something similar it's really worth spending £85 on 8 OSB boards to protect your driveway. Ours are being passed on to another friend who uses them when he drives his mini diggers up folk's drives.
The ultimate recycling and way to make friends. :-))
