ROCK STAR

We serendipitously had a delicious lunch at a farm shop off the A19 today when we had intended to go somewhere else but I drove past the turn-off and had to come off at the next junction. It was a much better destination. Afterwards I dropped B at home and went to the Headland for a bit of wildlife stalking where I spotted this seal trying to get a few minutes relaxation on a rock but losing to the incoming tide. I was way above it on the breakwater and not disturbing it at all, though it seems as though it's looking right at me.

Extra is one of the Coronation Chicken toppers still on the bollards near the lighthouse. I think they're so clever and creative.
