Hmong Family

These women were the brightest things happening at the Arboretum today! While driving through the Arboretum I saw about 20 people busy by their cars getting dressed into colorful costumes. I stopped, of course, and got out with my camera. I met these two women in the garden and they were very willing top pose for me. They didn't speak English very well but the young man who was with them told me they were dressed in traditional Hmong Costumes and were having family portraits taken. The ladies were very chatty and smiling, until they posed and then got very serious. When I got back into my car there were many very bright children running around!
