Glorious Saturday
Nice lie in this morning.
After doing a bit of work in the morning, I then headed to Cardiff and the New Theatre.
With it being a gloriously sunny day, Cardiff was quite busy with many of the coffee shops and pubs having packed seated outside. I had a wander around a bookshop and a bought a couple of books and then headed for lunch. But with many places being busy, my options were limited. So I ended up in Greggs and had a cup of tea, a sausage roll and a jam doughnut, and absobloominutely delicious were they. Lol!
Up next was a Peter James play Wish You Were Dead with a star studded cast. If you know your Murder Mystery, Peter James writes the Detective Superintendent Roy Grace books, and this was a play based around that character. It was a great play and big shout out to Clive Mantle, from Casualty and Holby City fame, for a fantastically over the top characterisation of the main baddie. He really went for it and clearly enjoyed it.
Headed home for a quiet evening and a pizza tea.
A glorious Saturday indeed.
Today I am thankful for:
1. A lie in
2. A trip to the theatre and a great play
3. A sausage roll and jam doughnut dinner
