Bluebells in the Wood
I picked up Janice this morning and headed to Balbirnie Park at Markinch for a walk and to see the rhododendrons. It was a bonus to see bluebells still flowering well.
We walked around the park/estate enjoying the beauty of the rhododendrons and wonderful trees and listening to the birds and the sound of the bagpipes welcoming a wedding party to the hotel there.
The rhododendrons were abundant and beautiful with lots yet to flower. Janice had never been there before so was loving it.

On our way home we stopped at Silverburn to get a cuppa and bite to eat at the Cottage Window cafe, then walked around the walled garden admiring the flowers and trees, birds and grey squirrels.
A day of soaking up beauty.
