A windy overcast day with much needed rain coming in later this afternoon • I decided to mow the grass today but am consciously mowing less than what I’ve done in the past. A gas-powered rider is needed for the hills but around the garden and the front yard I’ll use the battery-operated push mower. As for the rest, it can grow wild. I admire those who don’t mow, and we’ll continue to improve and find ways of reducing our carbon footprint • I took a break on the patio and found Freckles staring at me. Not long after he munched out on nuts and seeds • The WNBA season started last night. I recorded the Phoenix vs LA game and we watched it over breakfast this morning. It was heartwarming to see Brittany Griner back in uniform with a basketball in her hands, and a smile on her face • Enjoy your Weekend!
