Show Time

The warmest Park Run of the year so far seemed to suit Tess and Chris: Tess ran her quickest time in over a year and Chris set a new PB, beating his previous record which has stood for almost 18 months.

Later we joined Kate, Joel and Sophie at the outdoor pool for a picnic. I can’t honestly say that Tess and I did any swimming, more wallowing to ease the aches and pains.

When we got home Sophie wanted to show her Mum & Dad the outfit she was given at Tuesday’s dance lesson for the Summer Show in July. They’re performing songs from Matilda the Musical and the tartan outfit is meant to be a school uniform.

We did a bit of late afternoon gardening after they’d gone home.
