Macro day
This Star of Bethlehem being tall, became my table top macro subject There was a Northerly breeze making the long stemmed plant sway, which would affect sharpness, so i opted to cut one stem. This i put in a vase, on the top.
I wanted a clean background, so opted for shallow depth of field (small f top) i used f3.5. This is only really possible when using a tripod, with a two sec delay. If your like me anyway.
The passenger (crab spider), purely incidental but surprisingly sharp as i aw when this was a raw image
I focussed, single spot, on the very centre of one flower, knowing the long stamens would be out of focus. If i wanted to achieve that in one shot, i would need an f stop of f36. Then of course it would sharp front to back. Making the image look horribly messy
