Ardslignish
Today I explored the Ardnamurchan Peninsula and drove all the way (mostly along a single track road) to Ardnamurchan Point, the most westerly point in the British Isles and a wonderful view to the open Atlantic ocean. The scenery throughout the whole journey was simply outstanding and probably some of the most stunningly beautiful I've ever seen with the added bonus that it's completely unspoilt and undisturbed. Along the way I stopped at Garbh Eilean wildlife hide where otters had been observed moments before my arrival. Sadly, I missed them.
It's been a lovely and unscheduled two days and I will certainly return to this particularly beautiful place in the not too distant future.
