The saddest day

Pee Wee has been ill for quite some time with a malignant lump growing on her hind leg. anyway about 2 weeks ago she knocked it and it started to bleed heavily and since then it has needed dressing every day and has just got worse and worse.
We knew the time was coming to say goodbye, but she was bright in herself and still had quality of life, so we waited and today she let us know she had had enough so a really lovely vet who works with Robyn came to our house, and after a little dose of sedation Pee Wee passed peacefully away.
We are all absolutely heartbroken, she simply was the best dog ever, so gentle and caring with the most expressive ears. The hole she leaves in our life is devastating - we will love her forever, and never ever forget her :-(
